Architectural Technician

We are looking for an Architectural Technician to join our busy, vibrant, friendly practice in Raunds working on residential schemes from extensions to new builds through to small commercial projects.

This position is perfect for somebody who works well in a team and likes the challenges that being part of a busy office brings. The applicant must be able to produce scheme, planning and building regulation drawings.

The role requires you to be:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD LT.
  • Highly motivated and have an attention to detail.
  • Familiar with the current Building Regulations and with a good understanding of construction.
  • A team player, with the ability to work individually.

Qualifications:

HND level or higher, alternatively experience in an architectural practice.

Other info: 

We are situated down a single track road on the out skirts of Raunds so it is necessary for the applicant to own and drive their own vehicle. A free car park is situated on site.

Hours: (full time role) 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday throughout the calendar year, with 30 minutes lunch break each day.

Holiday: 28 days (incl bank holidays) annual leave.

Salary: bespoke based on your ability and experience.

Statutory pension provided via Nest.

Architectural Assistant

We require an Architectural Assistant to join our growing team at our Raunds office. They will work on a variety of projects, from residential extensions and conversions right through to new builds, developments and commercial projects. The role offers a diverse workload including production of scheme and planning drawings, liaison with clients and attending site to carry out surveys along with our in house surveyors. Our close knit team work closely with senior members who will provide technical support to develop your skills.

The role requires you to:

  • Have a Part 1 Architecture degree, alternatively experience within an architectural practice.
  • Be highly motivated.
  • Have good knowledge of AutoCAD LT.
  • Be a team player with the ability to work individually.

As the role requires regular liaison with clients the candidate must have excellent spoken English with a good telephone manner.
